From 2013 to 2023, I was part of McKinsey & Company's Design Center in Costa Rica, one of the firm's global hubs for visual communication excellence. I grew from individual contributor to leading the entire design team, overseeing some of the most demanding presentation work in the consulting world.
"Great design doesn't just decorate information — it clarifies thinking and drives decisions."
I'm Gabriel Vindas — a Senior Presentation Designer and Creative Leader based in Costa Rica, with over 20 years of experience in visual communication, executive storytelling, and design team leadership.
For over a decade, I was part of McKinsey & Company's Design Center, where I grew from Business Presentation Designer to Team Leader. In that role, I directed a team of 12–15 designers, delivered 1,000+ business-critical presentations for C-suite audiences across global offices, led full-cycle recruitment for the department, and conducted year-end performance evaluations aligned with McKinsey's global competency frameworks.
Today, I run Sigma Orionis Creations, a design-driven brand focused on original character-based products, and Bambú Fit Studio, a wellness brand built on authentic visual storytelling and community.
I'm currently open to new opportunities in presentation design, creative leadership, and project management — ideally in corporate, consulting, or educational environments where design is taken seriously.
